Dear Classmates
The countdown clock says 73 days to go.
Organising Committee: (2-5 October
this year)
Eleanor, Sandra, David , Dave, Jim, Robyn, John
Meetings on 12/5, 9/6, 14/7 and next on 11
August 3:30pm Tumbulgum pub.
As you can see , two events are fully organised by
us and we will need payment in advance. Saturday evening
$35/head and Sunday BBQ $25/head. Register page Drinks and all other events
are pay your own at the venue or byo. This has enabled
us to contain up front costs so each can tailor more
to their own tastes and needs.
Programme so far:
Fri 2 Oct:
Evening: Early birds at Tom and Eleanor�s
place.
Sat 3 Oct:
Lunch & Afternoon: 11.30 am
Light lunch at Austral Caf�.
Followed by Historical Museum then Art Gallery for
afternoon tea OR
Saturday matinee at Regent $7.50, (02) 6672 8265.
Evening: 6:00 for 6:30 pm Golf Club
Function Room.
Beef, pork, lamb or chicken roast and 4 Chinese dishes
to be selected in advance, dessert and coffee. $35/head.
Teachers to be invited free.
Sun 4 Oct:
Lunch & Afternoon: 11:30 am onwards
Complete year from 1957 to be invited to Sunday
event, so expect to meet even more yearmates.
Branding Rail, showground, $140 venue hire. BBQ organised
by committee $25/head.
Evening:
Venues around town, up to attendees to decide at the
time: Roundhouse (Great Steaks) Imperial Hotel (convenient
and good food) RSL for the poker machine nuts. Regent
theatre.
Mon 5 Oct:
Lunch: 11:00 am onwards. Salt Bar, lunch, chat and
strolls, Barclay Drive Casuarina, meals available
for $18-$28. Note: this is not booked so we turn up
and commandeer tables!
