Dear Classmates
Rather a long one but please read and act where you
can.
The second reunion for our class was mooted 2 years
ago for 3-5 October this year and plans are underway.
Organising Committee:
The beginnings of a committee have been formed
Eleanor Gerry (Clayton) - President, David Lomas -
Treasurer, Dave Graham.
- Communications, Jim Haydon, Robyn Morisset
... please let us know if you wish to be on the committee.
There is a need for
a secretary to keep those not on this email list up
to date by snail mail (need not be a Tweed local).
Other reunion:
Recently we sent out an email to you all advising
of a sister group holding a function on 6 June 2009
and issuing their invitation to you. You are of course
welcome to come to both events

The website is being updated but the countdown clock
has been there all along, 219 days to go.
Changes and higlighted things for
YOU TO DO (yes we are shouting at
you).
Down the list:-
- The home page has latest news links - suggest
changes, it's looking a bit stale.
- The 2007 reunion images are still there to refresh
memories and let those who couldn't make it see
what we look like.
- The "Attending" list has been cleared
(the old one is still available via a link at the
top) and a column started for those we know who
intend coming in October - reply
(Reply All if you wish) to this email to tell us
your intention at this moment is to be there in
October.
- The "Images" of us pages are largely
unchanged but can be added to - need
Murwillumbah and other Primary Schools class photos
in particular.
- Personal pages still a bit sparsely populated
- send photos and
text to Dave (he will even build you a more extensive
sub site or complete individual site - real cheap!)
- Parnassian 61 still incomplete, Dave's pretty
bored with the task but will try to complete!
- LoL page has 12 songs from '57 for you to play
each month (http://www.murbah57.org/main/music.php),
maybe save them all! (Dave would put them all there
but we are not paying enough for the server space!).
A game of "Survive" where you are challenged
to not bump the blocks or your classmates - contribute
something for this page, theme seems to be aging
and life but no hard rule there, send longest times
for "Survive".
- The "Register" page still avilable for
obtaining a CD of the June '07 event but it will
be repurposed as the October '09 event draws closer.
- The Programme page is blank and will be completed
bit by bit - email
the committee (all of us please) with suggestions.

- Contact page contains a graphic of Dave's email
address, David's will go there too since he will
be collecting your money. You will need to manually
type it (anti spam measure) but all our addresses
are in the "To:" line of this email anyway
- suggest you make
a group of the committee in your mail system, make
any other groups you wish to of course.
- Images of the 2004 MHS 75th reunion are still
there.
Looking for people who are in reasonable contact
with those who do not have email to keep them informed
about these emails - please
nominate yourself for this task, more than one per
person is not a problem, in fact an advantage.
