G'day All

We have just purchased sets of thumbscrews on eBay. Have unpacked them and we will be applying them progressively to slackos!

The list now contains the names of those we have contact with but who have not indicated their intentions. We urge all to bring pressure to bear on the wayward ('cause we'd love to see you, that's why).

Please use http://www.murbah57.org/main/register.php as it means you are simultaneously contacting all of the committee who live variously in Murwillumbah, Tweed, in between and Brisbane.

The list of those not yet found is still also included and unfortunately still a bit large. Please search your memories for any information you may recall, no matter how trivial (where last heard of, jobs, professions, married name, anything) we have had great success on limited information so far. Just reply to this email.

Pay by date:
The committee has had to set a pay by date of Fri 25 May to enable confirmation of catering etc. (Apologies to those who have paid and are not recorded as such on web - will catch up with all details soon.)

Please let us know if we can assist in any way or if you require more information.

The reason the question was asked on the registration page about how you were arriving, was to detect anyone who may not have their own transport. Doesn't seem to be a great problem so far but if you will need a lift anywhere then please say so and we will contact those staying at the same or nearby accommodation to see if they can help. Ian Robinson has offered room for up to 3 (Dave the same) from Greenslopes CP.

The committee is meeting for the second last time on Tuesday 8 May so drop us a line before then, especially if it involves major suggestions etc.

Friday evening/night:
David (Lomas) needs to know the numbers intending to come to his place on the Friday (set for 5.00 ish). The intention is to allow early arrivers a chance to meet and chat before the "official" events start on Saturday. Please drop him a line at [email protected]

Updates to web site:
Publishing the Parnassian (1961) has not progressed beyond 29 of the 58 pages and to think Dave had visions of putting all 5 years up!!

Prizes:
Still no winners of prizes for naming 1A, 2A and staff!
(that's good 'cause we haven't thought of a prize, to be sure)
